First-Generation Celebration Week - Faculty and Staff Workshop

How relationship-rich education can boost first-gen success! Join us at the First-Gen Week workshop!

On Tuesday November 4th 2025, from 12:00-1:30pm, faculty and staff will be offered a mid-year opportunity to continue learning about first-generation student needs and strengths and how we serve them, both inside and outside the classroom. This workshop responds to feedback from the summer symposium by bringing student voices to participants, as well as focus further on the theme of relationship-rich education. After a share back of the summer symposium learnings, students will offer their voices to participants, followed by a group activity led by CTI and RISE.
